based on the initial vs the final numbers...its doesn't look like the alignment shop did anything at all....its virtually the same....I hope you didn't pay anything for this.

with that being said, it seems your alignment is within spec ranges. im guessing your rear toe should be more at zero...and the rear camber could be around -1.00 degree.

Did you pay someone to do this to your car? Looks like an alignment monkey did the work, not someone with skill and understanding of what all the numbers mean. The rear toe should be at 0.06 on both sides - minimum spec - specifically to reduce inside edge wear. It's what I had to do to my Supra in '97 after I burned through a set of rears in 6k miles with the factory specified 3mm toe in, and it's worked on every car I've owned since.

this was a recheck of the initial alignment after the tires wore out in a few months of having it done. It was considerably out the first time..I didnt think it was necessary to be within .06 on toe to not wear tires out on the inside rear on a lexus thats not driven very hard.
Yes deff a alignment monkey at this place,I normally take my supras to mizzels in Va,they are a real shop with a pit and real race alignment capabilities...very high end frame machines and such....Just didnt think it was gonna be necessary for this car...Live and learn. From the pics doesnt the camber look excessive though?

No the camber doesn't look even close to excessive. I run -1.5 on all four corners of my Supra and never see inside edge wear.

FWIW, I'm the Lance in the Supra "lance alignment."

hmm. I have tried a few diff settings on the supra and never had tire wear like this either. Im wondering what the lexus will feel like with 0 toe settings. I read in supra forums that it made the car feel squirmish..not sure what they mean by that. I dont push the lexus hard,I just want good tire wear and decent handling . its a long way from a race car. Im looking at going with the conti dws tire next,it gets good reveiws for being quite and has a super good 540 tread rating. I dont see anything else out there in 20s that looks as good.

glad you posted up the specs....as for the DWS I'm on my 3rd set, all different cars, and nothing I can complain about. Great all around tire for a daily driver.

Ill dig for it tomorrow nite, as for the DWS get the alignment corrected and you will be just fine. You lose the mileage part but have you considered the DW vs of this tire? I had them on my S2000 prior to selling on the stock rims and I liked them. DWS is not as aggressive but good year round in Chicago.

Toe and camber are the only two things that cause wear on the front or back. Just to let you know once the wear starts it will usually continue that way until worn. The other option is to have the alignment shop put the camber exactly 1 degree more positive than what is the factory spec.

Have you already changed the Sumitomo tires?

this car has no camber adjustments and i dont want to spend the extra money if the toe is still going to wear through tires like this,so i will try and take most of the toe out and then if it still is a tire killer,I guess Ill have to buy the megan lower control arms with adjustments...what sumitomo tires you refering to?

what is puzzling me is why did the the stock rims and pzero tires not wear at all like this,is the wider rim making that much diff in the setup of the car?

Because you didn't brake as hard on the P-Zeros. The harder you brake, the more you wear the inner edges.
