I found this in driver foot well. Dom't know much about motors but I believe it is a motor brush.

I checked operation on steering wheel which is working as well as the seat.

Could this have come off of one of those and still be working? Any other place to look?

That could have been tracked into the vehicle on the bottom of your shoe...it doesn't look familiar in any event.
