Disable / Ignore Spare TPMS

2006 GX470.

After 17 years, the spare TPMS is dead... So, before I bring the car to a tire shop to replace the TMPS, is it possible to just have the cars TMPS monitor ignore the Spare tire TMPS? i.e. ask the tire shop to only register 4 of the 5 tires?

I’m certain that is not possible. The system will always monitor for 5 wheels/tires.
