Which Gen is my Nav disk?
Hello All,
I pulled Nav disk from my 2004 GX470 (Manufacturing date 12/03). I read somewhere that 2003/2004 disks were marked either EAST or WEST. Mine has no such marking. So, any help in identifying the Gen of my disk would be greatly appreciated.

This Lexus site has a link to a pdf that shows the different generations of nav system.

The 2003-2004 GX470 has gen 2 and 3 nav systems. The newest data is from 2013.
Honestly, I wouldn't bother updating it - it's just too old to bother. I have the newest (lastest) disc and it will show me being offroad fairly often because it doesn't have the road data.
I would look for a good cellphone mount and use Google or Apple maps.
Funny thing - they still list your disc in the parts system, but you'll choke on the price - $2170
