Chromed factory wheels?
I saw a picture in the gallery of a Gold GX in front of the Golden Gate Bridge that had chrome factory wheels. Is this a whole different wheel or is there some way to "chrome" the factory wheel? If so, how do they do it and how much would that cost? I'm ignorant when it comes to this stuff.

Chrome wheels
I'm pretty sure chrome wheels could be done as an option, but even if they weren't you(or your dealer) could easily send them out to be done. I think I have seen a few exchange places advertising/selling services on ebay for this...usually $600 plus your rims and they send you chromed ones. The going rate last time I did it thru tirerack was an additional $150 per rim over a non-chromed version.

Or if you want "your" wheels chromed the chroming shop will take them and put them through the process, it takes a week or so depending on how busy they are, but if you have to ship back and forth a long way expect 2-3 weeks.

Chromed Wheels
Hi people. The pic you were talking about was my car next to the bay with the bayy bridge in the background. The wheels it self were chromed already. Lexus gives you the chromed wheels as an option. I went to buy the GX and they only had chrome wheels for the model I wanted. The chromeed wheels give it a very nice look without overdoing it.
