TRD Supercharger

Buy the blower out of state (no tax). It cost me $3,990.00, and they included free shipping. The install was $640.00. Total was $4,630.00 installed. Go to a Toyota dealer to have it installed. It will retain the same warranty, and be quite a bit less. You just wont get free coffee. Also, you don't get to retain the cool silver, plastic Lexus engine cover. It won't fit with the blower.
I'll try to get some picts soon.

Congratulations!!! It must have supercharged you as well . Right? I am so glad that people are taking initiatives to do such great mods. This one is the most impressive mod that I saw ever since someone posted those wonderful 20" HREs on GX. Ofcourse the pics of HIDs by D4SSWME have been impressive too. Its all so tempting...

Hey, just a couple of quick questions:
What kind of average MPG are you getting per your computer with the SC?
Do you have the contact information for the Parts Supplier who sold you the SC?
Have you noticed any difference in the operating temperature of the Vehicle?
Thanks a ton,
Boulder Andrew
ps I have approx 850 miles on my GX with the KDSS and I really love it. I have not yet experienced any of the problems with the KDSS that I have heard about on the board.

Pole Position
This is what I read in a magazine....
They tested an '04Toyota 4-Runner V8 fitted with the TRD supercharger and their tests achieved 0 to 60 in 5.7 secs!!!!!! .....
Now tell me that ain't crazy fast for an SUV!!!! .....as someone said earlier, I'd love to see the look on those stupid German (BMW X5 , AMG Mercedes ML ) vehicle owners' face racing away from a stoplight!!!

I just got back from a 600 mi trip on the GX, and I got 20.0 mpg. Not bad for such a large beast. carrying three people and a bunch of camping stuff. As far as noise, it's only present when you push it. When driven normally, you don't hear it. When you floor it, you hear a slight whine, about as loud as the AC on full. So far very pleased with the total package.

So does it save gas?
So does the Super charger save gas? or uses more of it? Hows the avg mpg in the city?
Hows the mid range acceleration like from 30 going to 80mph?
Thanks for answering everything.
