You will be able to reach the housing just under the running board behind the light,
then turn clockwise or anti-clockwise, I don't remember exactly. But it's easy!! Less than 30 seconds, you will be able to take it out!! Good luck!!

Yeah, if you take a look at David's pics of the bulb and housing "dangling". You get your fingers on that entire piece and turn it to release it. It will unlock and you'll be able to slide it out. Also, it's only a quarter turn to unlock.... bulb just pulls straight out of housing after that.
Tip - try to remember which way the housing is "pointing" before you slide it out of the running board. This will help you line it up when putting it back in after changing the bulb!

Hi , didnt know there are so many online club for GX470, I dicide to register a account in this forum after 3 days reading, and this is my first post, I beleive my questions has been discussed for many times, so I dont think it is wise to start a new topic, if someone beleive my questions' stupid, please bear with me.
in short, I want to change bulbs, mine is GX470 2004, no back seat ent. system,
1, H11,
any difference between Xenondeport.com 's and EBAY?
the ebay ones cost less than $300 a pair, (6000K), are they reliable?
2, 168, 194.
running board, parking light, plate board.
again, ebay has them for even low to $3 a pair, is that good as those at PIAA? BTW, I didnt find any LED marked 168 or 194 at PIAA< so which LED to buy at PIAA?
3, fog light,
no clue whitch substitute to buy yet .
the reason I want to change them is, more light, lower power LED& HID use, am I right?
apreciate any input !

PIAA 194 white LED wedge type LED will filt into the running board and the parking lights, I install them into my parking light but find them to be not bright enough for the running boards. Below is a link for the PIAA LED:

As far as xenon depot, you know the old saying, you get what you pay for. Xenon depot uses phillip ballast and bulbs, they are a very good brand. Your fog lights are H3 type bulbs. If you go with HID in the low beam, the Hoans H3 xenon match 55 watt will match the HID very well.
Good Luck

thanks for input!
I am wrong on the fog light, what I menat was DRL(turning light), since they are always on, still looking which is the best substitution.
meanwhile, I found the philips 6000k h11 is much cheaper at ebay ,and the guy got 100% positive feedback, is this one same with xenondepot.com ones? I am confused, so much price diff on a same item.
