Well Well, 2 days after I called the service department and they told me that I was on the list and fix was soon to come, they called back and said my parts were in. I took the GX in yesterday (Friday) and they fixed it in adout 4 hours! No question, the truck no longer smells like the day after a bad burito. Lexus kicks ***!!!!!

My 04 has 4600 miles and does not have this problem. However the 03 I had did have this problem.

Well....after being told for months that it was the brand type of gas....and I tried them all....they finally ordered the fix for the smell. Just in time for summer too.....otherwise I could never open the windows, even still the smell came in the cabin.


Also, just for kicks I asked them to order a new drivetrain for the thump. No problem.....ordered!! No questions asked!!

Do I notice a bit of Lexus finally admitting they were wrong? Had the car for almost a year now and finally getting these items cleared up.

I just got the sulfur smell, driveshaft thump and vibration corrected by the dealer. I had to complain to Lexus Corp but they did finally do the fix. Drives like a Lexus now!!
