No, the trail was just too crazy after this shot. I looks like one flight of stairs but the step is 2 feet high. So i know it's beyond the capabilities of the rig.

2 FEET?? WOW! yeah i'd be really careful, since this isn't four wheeler magazine in which they don't care if the car get's wrecked up! lol

I was suppose to go to Yosemite or Sequoia NP. but choose a more driver oriented trip. Big Bear is in San Bernardino National Forest. About 80miles east of Los Angeles.

For the entire trip safely of my passengers and the vehicle was my priority so I didn't dare take any risk that will endanger us. My next trip I plan to go with the guys at www.Yotatech.com since thay have far more trail experience than I do.

I don't know yet. They haven't set up a trip date yet so far, so I'll just keep checking here. http://www.yotatech.com/forumdisplay.php?f=15

You should have spent some time playing in the Fawnskin Bowl. It is only up the road about 1/2 mile from the fire station. You can have more fun than you will ever believe in there. I went in there in a 6 wheel Pinsgauer, and it can do things that you would not believe. It also rides like a stretched limo, even in the rough stuff.
I have been by the Fawnskin Bowl ( name given by the locals) about 100 times and until I was shown it, I did not know that it even existed.
I just got back from spending the weekend in Fawnskin and hated to come back to Los Angeles.
Sounds like you had a great time!

we should have a Gx470 club, in where we meet every year either at a trail or somewhere, and go tackle a trail together!

Sounds like a good idea RX900! Maybe we can invite some LX470s owners too. If you are itching to off road your rig. Go to hungry valley for an appetizer http://www.parks.ca.gov/default.asp?page_id=405 it is only about 150 miles south of Fresno. Let me know if you plan on going!
