Do ANY of the 03 GX's meet the 6000lb weight req? I thought maybe the ones with 3rd row, nav and tow package may meet the requirement ... (hopefully) could surrrrre use that tax break ! Anybody? Anybody ? =)

We are hoping to order the GX in a week or so. But just a few questions. We want KDSS, but is that available outside the sport package? The GX we want is all the options and KDSS (w/o the SP).
Also, does anyone have pictures of what the GX looks like w/the SP? I am curious to see how it looks. It could change my mind toward getting the SP. Will the ride still be "Lexus Smooth" equipped with it?

I have no more patience left. The Sports Package as well as the additional power is very intriguing to me and hold me off from more cost savings for a leftover 2004. It is worth the wait for a 2005 if cost savings is not a huge factor.

I don't know the production yet, however it might be different on the east coast. We did have KDSS on the 2004's, but only on a full option car. You had to get the nav, levi, and dvd player to get the KDSS...and then there wasn't that many of them. I strongly suggest you try to stay on contact with the dealership you have placed your order from. If you have any other questions, I'll do my best to answer, but all regions differ slightly in inventory.

Only 10% of the trucks coming off the GX line, for the western region, were equipped with KDSS. This tidbit comes right off the Lexus allotment printout as the ships left port in Japan.
Repeating myself again, my bet is you will have to buy the Sport Package to get KDSS and the Sport Package will only be available on a FULLY optioned truck. By this I mean that the trucks will only be built this way, without any variation ,as the options list might suggest.
