Its surprising considering the defective wheels placed under the GX. I put chrome plated Sequoia wheels that look similar to the factory GX 5 split stars. My wheels were pitted/peeled even after resurfacing them a year prior to getting rid of them. Still believe it should have been a recall,

Just curious, what do you expect to get for those wheels? It's time to buy new tires for me 2005 GX 470 so I thought I'd see if getting bigger rims might be an option. Thanks...

Smitty,
I'm shocked those are still for sale....Especially in Cali. The GX460 wheels are the way to go IMO, once you find a good home for those monsters. I am now looking for a winter set up, The salt will kill my sequoia chromes this year. I just bought a single replacement chrome from ebay for one that has peeled. I'll just use the peeled one underneath as a matching spare. The only wheels I wont consider for a winter set up is the factory ones that would be sure to corrode.

I was going to ask you if you wanted to purchase my oem set after I replace them.

You might want to check out these wheels that are for sale.

The seller is a member of tacomaworld.com.

Thx for the info kphu, I already have a replacement set of stock wheels and tires. Those tacoma wheels are only 16"s and look pretty beat and not to mention they are pretty far from my location. I am just looking to sell my 22s with the tires, lugs, locks and spacers. I will try to get some pics of them off the vehicle this weekend, been working a lot so I have not been able to. Thx again Smitty
