Unhappy Bum Fender Flare

I've had my GX since 22 Oct. On the 26th I noticed about a 1/4" gap between the front passenger fender flare and fender. My wife took the truck to our local Lexus service center on the 28th and picked up a RX loaner. So far they have replaced the fender flare and clips with no joy. For some reason the clips and tape will not hold the fender flare. Today our service rep stated they will attempt to replace the fender as a last resort. If that doesn't work then they will contact Lexus corporate to possibly replace our truck. If it comes to that then they will have to include RES on the new truck. Are they still making '04s? Has anyone had any issues with their fenders? The good service has somewhat eased the pain. My salesperson even overnighted all-weather mats for the inconvenience.

I had a similar problem on mine last year, see:

New glue and clips fixed mine.

Good Luck,
Tony

That's exactly my issue. It continued to separate with new clips and adhesive. The techs believe the problem could be the fender. We'll see.
