05 Sport Package Pictures!!!

Thank you for posting these Sports Package Photos!
They look nice, but doesn't seem like something major, so the main reason again to get the Sports Package is the KDSS if really needed.
In the meantime a sports package should be distinctive at least by the type of rims, but by Lexus just polishing the SAME rims they used before, is not going to be enough to convince most of us to get the sports package because of this new distinctive look. The looks seems minor at this point, but maybe more pronounced when I actually get to see it in person.
However I am still a believer in KDSS, which therefore means I have no choice but to believe in the Sports Package too.
I am still sold on the new 2005 changes, especially in the increased HP.
Thanks again!

Just for comparison. Here is the interior shot of the Japan's Toyota Prado top of the line TZ model. I really like the perforated leather seats similar to the LS430's ultra luxury package.

The sport package wheels looks similar to the shadow chrome wheels of the BMW M5s from the picture. Darkend head lights and tail lights are the usual treatment of the sport package models in most toyotas and hondas nowadays. But remember the exterior and interior might get subtle changes but it's in the electronics and mechanicals that most of the changes were made.

Either way, Lexus is heading in the right direction with these sports package option to appeal to younger buyers.

So essentially the Sport package is the old KDSS with the cosmetic changes? I guess the $50 difference makes more sense now. Having come from the AMG Benz which used nearly the identical cosmentic selections, I DO like the distinctive look though. After we got our RX, we noticed that there where already about 15 of them in the neighborhood (Silver/Grey). There's only two other GX's in the neighborhood now and neither is Blizzard. One is the 2003 Sand dollar but that's different enough that no one will get them confused.

Exactly what lexguynj said. MB and BMW sports package give you totally different rim, where Lexus just give you a different finish. I think this deserves a booooo, but may justify a slightly higher price.
The black wood is definitely a very good touch
