New GX owner, here. I am in NJ and want to drive on the beach for fishing. While I wanted a front end hitch receiver, they are not available for this vehicle. So I am probably going to get a carrier off the rear hitch receiver (which was not installed by the dealer. I saw that other thread and I am confused about what to do). Has anyone used the Aries off-road bar or something similar? I think I can put some pole holders on that. Also, are there any hitch mounted carriers that people have used? Any pics on mods for this purpose would help, too. Thanks.

Get the stowaway2 hitch carrier. It can be found at stowaway2.com. You will love it.

Yakima has a bike rack (HitchFork) that has bars. You can probably add a basket (LoadWarrior) to carry a cooler.

Anyone try the Aires Offroad bar in front? Easy to install? I think I can mount some fishing poles on ti.
