A/C Compressor makes truck lurch forward at stop
Has anyone experienced the truck lurching forward when your foot is lightly on the brake and the a/c compressor engages? Honestly I've come pretty close to rear-ending the person in front. Any fixes from the dealership??

I haven't experienced that yet in our GX, but that is the main reason I manually switch off the A/C button. I leave the climate control on automatic, but only have the A/C button on when I really want A/C.
Our family's Lincoln does it real bad and even my RX300 does it a little (not as noticable with that engine). I've also heard that is a big complaint with the Acura TL's the last few years.

You might be feeling the dreaded "clunk". It feels the same as what you are saying. It is kind of an on again, off again deal. It is the driveshaft binding on the yoke splines. My truck has 17,000 miles on it and it seems to have vanished. Feels kind of like you got rear ended. I thought it was the a/c too when it first happened.
