OEM Supplier for Wireless Headphones
Does anyone know who manufactures the Lexus GX470 rear seat entertainment system and wireless headphones. I want to buy an extra pair of headphones for my 3rd row passengers, but don't really want to spend $95 for a $35 pair of IR headphones. The Audiobahn AVH1 IR headphones look almost identical to the Lexus phones, but I was hoping to have something more to go on.

THe Toyota ones should be the same. I paid $40 for them at the dealer.

I once used a set out of a Ford Expedition when I needed an extra set of headphones. Why not findout if you can test them out first from the place you can getr'em cheap...and then either keep or return them once you know for sure. I know there's the usual no returns on electronics BS, but I think you can find a place that allows that - also with Christmas being so close - you can always buy them and get yourself a gift receipt in the event they don't work it should be no problem to return them - return policy goes out the window during the holidays.

We've got 3 kids and 2 headphones. Short term solution was to take a set of wired headphones from the Walkman and plugged it in to the back of the console. Then the kids fought over who was going to get the wireless ones. Spoiled kids.....you'd think they'd be thankful that they have a DVD player at all.
My wife solved the problem by getting two OEM wireless headphones for no charge...how did she do it you ask??
2004 GX470......Forty-six thousand dollars....
Illinios sales tax....Three thousand four hundred and fifty dollars.......
Having a father-in-law with a 2004 GX470 also with RSES......priceless!!!!!

Sounds like you got a great deal or someone messed up at the dealership.
One pair is standard with the GX (we got a pair with ours and my in-laws got a pair with theirs - both 2004's).
