GX470 Sirius Radio
Just wated to share where I put the Sirius controller.
I had to trim the sunglass pocket a little. After I select a station, either directly on the controller or with a remote, I close the door. Works beautifully.

Personally, I haven't gotten accustomed to looking at the songs names. However, I can just reach up and open the door if I want to know. I can also leave the door open, for that matter. There is plenty of mirror left, in case I want to look back.

I removed the upper console and then had the installer install the receiver behind the dash and bring the one cable up and out the cavity where the console goes. Also had him bring the antenna out to the outside.
I then did the trimming on the glasses pocket and secured the controller to the pocket. Then plugged the controller to the wire the installer brought up and then reset the console.
If you have anymore questions don't hesitate to ask.

Just today. I ordered Vais Tech's AIC-100 (KIT) for 2004 GX470
All the kit does is allow for two audio sources to play directly into the GX's audio system. I have two systems playing through two modulators, the DVD and TV and the Sirius satellite receiver.

Sorry for waiting on this soo long. In my GX470 I installed a Sirius tuner between the aux 12v power and the suspension setting. I removed the plastec trim piece that ajoins the wood panel and screwed an L bracket down and then returned the trim piece. The result is a Sirius Satelite tuner that hovers over the suspension setting switch. I did this about a year ago. I've been meaning to take pictures but, well I s'd the bed.
Anyway, I'll post pictures. In my opinion it doesn't take your eyes off the road quite as much as dropping the sunglass pocket.
