Brake caliper noises
I am not sure that I am describing this correctly but it seems that the calipers of our 2004 GX tend to get pressurized every few minutes. It may also be related to the ABS. There is a very slight clunk followed by a couple seconds of slight vibration on the brake pedal and a faint buzz. I have always experienced this with other cars, including our LS430, only once after the engine start. But this occurs continueously (every 5 minutes or so) with the GX after the engine starts and while driving around.
Has anyone else experienced this problem or is this considered normal for the GX?

Not right
I have had a 2003 GX (60,000 miles) and now have a new 2005 GX. Plus I have driven other GX models over the last two years. I have never experienced what you are describing on any of these vehicles.

Everyone has talked about vibrations and clunking but in a totally different context. I have never heard of or experienced this in the brake peddle every few minutes. Odd... I would have the dealer check it out to make sure there isn't something wrong with the brakes like a leak or something that causes it to lose pressure in the lines.

I may have experienced something similar, although I never felt it in the pedals.
It almost sounds/feels similar to when the A/C compressor engages, but you hear a faint buzz.
I experienced it in my '98 LC, and when I mentioned it to the dealer they told me it was normal. I also experience it in my '04 LC. It's not as noticeable and maybe it's because of improved sound deadening, but it's still there.
I think I hear that it is some sort of pressurization. Nonetheless, since I've experienced it in two cars, the dealer was most likely correct.
