If you press the emergency button in the destination menu, I remember under automotive, it will display Toyota dealerships along with Lexus dealerships. I think that is kind of funny. Hey, I am not at all degrading the Lex, it is just a little odd.

It makes no difference to me, I am good friends with the owner of a local Toyota dealership and I take my lexus there for all kinds of service anyway. It is generally the same parts and manufacturer. In fact, the sporty exhaust tips on the GX I bought as the 4-runner's part and they are the exact same one as in a Lex dealer.

While some people might say Lexus is a dressed up Toyota, (which I clearly think otherwise) even if it were, it is still a good car to be dressed up .

Drive on.

By the way, that emergency menu is pretty neat; it even gives GPS coordinates!

If it breaks down better to get to a Toyota dealer then the local Ford Dealer

My thoughts exactly. Looking at this another way, the fact that Toyota dealerships are displayed along with those of Lexus says a lot about the training, quality, and expertise of Toyota mechanics.
