Navigation - Bread Crumbs??

Default Navigation - Bread Crumbs??

I'm new to the forum and been a proud owner of a 2005 GX470 with Sport Package since the beginning of February. I've been playing around with the navigation system and have read through the manual, but didn't seem to notice anything on bread crumbs (feature on other nav systems that plots your travel offroading, or roads that don't show on the nav).

Does anyone know how to access this feature, or if it even exists?

But hey, you weren't planning on taking a month-long journey in the Mojave now where you?

Don't sweat it, just enjoy the ride on-road and talk to "Athena".
(My wife named the lady that talks Athena [Wisdom] and says I am having an affiar with Athena because I talk to the car more than I talk to her. LOL)

My 2000 GS400 had that feature, I do miss it. But more so because visually it lets you know which way you've driven through roads so if things get complicated, it is easier to backtrack, and you don't have to engage a destination.

Heh. My Wife calls her "Lois".

Side Note: Bread Crumbs are part of the Acura/Honda Nav system. Nice feature. Too bad the rest of the SUV is so boring.

Thanks for everyone's reply. I figured if anything, and you needed something to help you find your way back, you or a passenger can hit the mark button as often as you like to set flags. With these flags you can you use them to trace your way back or also set a destination using the flags to get your way back (may take some time depending on all the flags you set).

Yeah, and ever try putting the nav into French? That is a blast! Then she becomes CÉLINE. LOL. It sounds so cool; the French voice is so seductive and sexy IMO. Maybe they intended that?
