I think I'm an idiot, cause I don't know how to use that front cup holder. There is that plastic piece in the middle that you can move out, but I don't see how any cup will stay in that thing cause the depth is not even there. Any tips i'm not seeing here?

Also, where do you put your coins and your phone? The ash tray is tiny can barely fit my fingers in there.

 

the arms inside the cup holder are adjustable.....this helps a little.

although they seem to pop back in the original position too often when you take your drink out for sip.

but I agree the drink holder slots should be slightly deeper.

 

The front cupholder is pretty shallow and anything taller than a can of soda moves back and forth easily.
However, inside the compartment with the split door, there's a cupholder that flips up and can contain anything bigger than that front cupholder.
I throw my cellphone on top of the lid of a small lunch bag.
I throw the coins inside the ashtray.
