Does anyone have a cargo cover solution for trucks with third row seats? I only occassionaly use the 3rd row, so normally they are left in the garage. Does anyone one know of a cover for the cargo area? I usually leave golf clubs in the back and would like to have them hidden from prying eyes. Thanks.

a bunch of old jackets to cover it? It works great for me! Thats what i do if I ever have a laptop or something valuable left in the trunk.

 

Since I NEVER use the third row (stored in my garage from day 1) I thought I could buy and have dealer install the toneau cover that came with the 2003 model GX without the third row. After nine months of having the dealer try to create templates, and others from Lexus trying to figure it out....I gave up and my purchase was refunded. There were more differences between the two models than anyone realized.

I have the same problem in my 2005 - I hope someone comes up with a real solution (i.e. like the Rx, Grand Cherokee, etc.)

 

Sorry, don't understand why they are trying to use a 2003 version.

3rd row seating is still an option (though almost all are coming in with it), and I believe for 2005 GX w/o 3rd row seating, they come with the cover. Why can't they order those (2005) parts for you?

 

I tried the cargo cover idea when I got my first GX (2003). It didn't work. I haven't tried similar approach with 2005 because I assumed it would be the same problem (i.e. the cars/rear seating are NOT identical between third-row vehicles and non third-row vehicles).

Hey DB6...... I located a picture I think of what you want and this is on GX470......so i guess they make one......not sure where you can get it though......
