I'll give it a try - tough to take good night shots for some reason, tend to be out of focus.... will post tonight.
I don't recommend the MTEC's - they don't match as well as I would like them to, others recommended the Hoen xenonmatch... I just went for a cheap alternative before I heard of the Hoen's.
I live in rural AZ, not to say we don't have major auto parts stores, but I buy alot of junk off E-bay. I usually find a better deal, no tax and it's delivered to my door. As a matter of fact, I didn't even check the local stores?

WOW DAVID! Impressive pic. I think I read 6000K somewhere in your posts? How much did the XD Fogs set you back? Did you find some high beams that you liked? Your post have been very helpful - Thanks a mill

Night Shot
I tried my best - but honestly, the night pictures just don't turn out very well. They always seem to turn out blurry / fuzzy??? They just don't do the mods any justice in my case. Sorry

don't get blind, please... :D
It's worth it because it's much safer at night, and I usually drive at night, so it was a good decision for me.
Both of my kits are from XD 6000k, It was more expensive beforeback then, now I think they lowered the price. And I dealed with Steve, great person!!
cliffy, try to stablize your camera when taking picture at night, perhaps tri-pod would be more helpful!!
As for the high-beam I'm using PIAA 7500K. I bought it from Japan.

May be explained...
My Digital Camera is a professional type camera, I could manually control the shutter speed, and filter. Therefore, you will see the picture below with no special effect on. And this is what it should look at night...

Bluestar
I just had a RX330 as a loaner from my dealership with factory HID and the output of the light was way yellow compared to my 6000k lights if you look at the color while behind the wheel it look like a brighter version of Halogens. I was amazed how white my 6000k HIDS were when I got my GX back. I tell you what I would not trade in my 6000k for 43000k.

Hey Tony.....
You are mixing Apples and Oranges. If you had said that you got a GX loaner with 4300K HIDs, then you would have a true comparison.
There is no doubt, that the 6000K are brighter, but they give 20% less lumens than 4300K.
I do realize, that some folks like the bluish light better. I have 6500K and I like them too, but would rather have the 4300K for more light. At my age, I need all the help I can get.
