Dimensions Clarification
I'd like confirmation that the GX's published height of 74.6 inches and the width of 74.0 inches includes the luggage rack and mirrors. I'm about ready to buy a GX but would likely switch to a smaller vehicle if I discovered one would not fit in my garage. I've measured the door width and the lowest part of the garage door opener when closed and open. It should fit if the measurements include the above. Also, what setting was the rear setting at to achieve the published height? If I lived much closer to a Lexus dealer, I'd test drive one home for a test fit.
Many thanks

hit HomeDepot, buy a long stick and make sure it's straight, make sure it's square so it does not roll off the roof, place it up on the roof rails and measure down to a flat even floor
Lexus, Toyota and all the others for some reason don't include roof rails as part of the vehicle height, you can fold the mirrors in but I would not count on the rear height control to lower and get you in and out, it's only like an inch or so.
Your next bet is to get a loaded V8 4Runner, that should shave some inches off the height and get you in
