Aftermarket wheels on 04 and 05 GX and sensor
Has anyone put 20 or 22 on a GX or any other lexus car or truck with the tire sensor on the rims and the light on the dash? how do you keep it from coming on after you put your new wheels on any mods on this and by away I don't want to remove the sensor from the factory wheels and don't want to purchase new sensor on new wheels ?Thanks.

Hey "AngelsLex".....if you ever run across some pics of the GX 470 with some cool after market wheels.....please post them or send me an e-mail.
I am sort of looking for some really special after-market wheels.....just so my GX looks unique.
I have already seen the few pics on this site........
Ya know something I find odd......is custom wheels are relatively expensive......but most of the time when you shop for wheels there is no way to actually see the wheels you are considering on your particular vehicle
There is one site that allows you to pick the wheels and then let you see a really nice computer generated animation of what the wheels will look like on your exact vehicle.....but they only have like 5 different sets for the GX 470. All wheel sites should allow customers to do this......you can even pick your vehicle color to really get a feel for what it's going to look like once the wheels are on the vehicle......the problem though is it only shows 5 different wheels with the GX. Still it's a good start. Check out link below to access this wheel site.

I know if I am going to spend thousands of dollars on custom wheels I want to know exactly what they will look like on my vehicle before laying down the cash.......
Maybe one day these wheel companies will get on board with the technology that allows customers to view the wheels on their car before purchase.......because alot of us are not crazy about laying out thousands of dollars on "blind (wheel) dates".

Hey Zep what's up? Check out my wheels. Thanks for all the info before the size of the tire is just right drove the GX on the highway and no problems the ride still the same on soft or comfort. is not a fancy wheel but it does the job and for the price I can't complaint if you interest give me a PM price for the Rims and Tires were $1900 cash. (locks, balance and mounted include) P.S did you see my Thread about the Tire Sensor Warning BYPASS so that you don't have to but new sensor or pull the ones out the OEM wheel.

AngelsLex,
Wow....those look nice!
Looks like you made a great choice.
What size rims and tires are those?
If ya get a chance can you show a pic with a shot showing the entire vehicle so I can get the full perspective......you know thats my "cause".....gotta see the whole vehicle with the wheels on it!
Good luck with it....
