Programming the Phonebook
Has anyone figured out how to change a phone number once you've uploaded your cell to the NAV system via bluetooth? The manual talks about how to upload your cell phone, etc, but I can't find out how to change a number once it is in there. The only thing I can think of is to upload my phone again and go through the process of deleting those I don't want and setting the 1-touch buttons.
Seems like a huge process just to change a number, so I am hoping I am just missing the obvious and there is an easy way to do this.
Thanks

You can do one number at a time? Is that phone specific? I've only found that I can transfer the whole contents of my phone, not one at a time - I am thinking that must be phone specific. What phone do you have?

I have a Nokia 6820, and I have to transfer the numbers 1 at a time. If I have more than one number listed under a name (home, office, cell, ...) it will only transfer the main number. I think some of the Motorola phones allow you to transfer the entire phone book -- but then you're stuck with a Motorola phone
My bigger complaint with the bluetooth in the 2005 models is that if you dial from the phone, the system doesn't pick it up until after the person you're calling has answered the phone. How lame is that? I have two bluetooth headsets (Jabra and Motorola) and both of them have no problem so I know it isn't a bluetooth standard problem. Probably just another way that over zealous safety engineers at Toyota crippled this car.

I have a Sony Ericsson phone - it transfers the entire phone book at one shot. But after reading the above post, I went and looked at the options for each individual number and what do you know, I could transfer one at at time too - duh.
My phone will only transfer the first number in the list, even if it isn't the main number. So I have to erase the numbers for a contact, except for the one I want transfered, and then put them back. Kind of a pain in the butt - glad I don't have to change them too much.
