Xenondepot HID installation
Tony,
Based on your DIY installed guide, the battery should be taken out during installation. My question is...when you put back the battery, will the factory OEM alarm go crazy? How about the radio presets?
Please advise, thanks.

Joel you wont loose anything
Nothing will happen if you disconnect your battery. The windows need to be normalized or be recalibrated thats in the owners manual and will take 20 seconds. Radio presets need to be redone and clock.
When normalizing your windows make sure to do it in a dark area so you can see each window switch blink on each door. You have to go to each of the four doors to roll the window up and down manually with the window button, then the GX will calibrate the windows. The order the windows need to be normalized is sunroof, drivers side, front passenger side, rear driver side, rear passenger side.
All they want you to do is roll the windows up with the button hold for 1-5 seconds and row down 1-5 seconds do this to all four windows and sunroof.
Nothing else is affected by disconnecting your battery.
