Has anyone exchanged their oem 17" lexus gx470 wheels for chrome oem from those "westcoast" wheel xchange companies u see on ebay? If yes, are you happy by the way it looks and the quality of the chrome? And if you can, pls attach pics of wheels (on the gx). i know many of you hv 20s & 22s chromes (really nice btw), but i want to keep the same 17" lexus wheels, as i dont want to fuss with ride, pressure monitor, and most importantly, nyc potholes. Thanks for any thoughts....

I did a core exchange with one of those companies about 2 years ago for my 2003GX with a company called Wheel Concepts. My thoughts:

Pro:
Easy, quick and relatively inexpensive swap
Look really sharp
Very responsive to my email inquiries
No problems after 2 years

Cons:
Some minor shadowing of the chrome in the narrow slots
Probably not as good as factory Lexus dipped
Lexus "L" logo replaced with generic "L" on chrome caps

If you can't or didn't get the Lexus chrome at the time of GX delivery, I'd consider the swap out places like I did. I'm very pleased.
