Default 10k and loving it

just passed the 10,000 mile mark! and i got the truck in feb '05! and i'm completely satisfied with it.

most of the miles came from my other job (army reserves.. is there such thing anymore?), sending me on TDY (temporary duty) orders all over the east coast. best of all the army pays me when i drive. driving to the poconos from delaware to go snowboarding during the winter added some miles too.

the only thing that bugs me about the truck are the rear vent windows, how they're not powered and have to open/close manually. other than that i'm satisfied with everything.

some of my friends questioned me when i spent all the money i made in iraq on the gx.. apparently they never drove a gx...

ps this forum rocks!

!
I am just shy of 10k and am loving it as well. Coming from a Touareg that was lemoned back to VW I am thrilled to say my biggest complaint is the rear windows as well. My cargo area is used almost daily as a dog area and I would love to be able to open them on the fly, afterall, you can do that is an Expedition even. The only other thing I have noticed is my rig seems to take speed bumps harder than others--not suspension setting related, but it seems that the rear hits much more sharply than in others.

All in all I love it too...

Hi T_standard

I totally agree with the 2 problems you mentioned above.
I wish the rear window on the tail gate would open like on the 4Runner.
