Yesterday I'm out with the kids and they're watching a DVD when I start to hear this static buzzing sound I thought was coming from the speaker. I turned the radio down and it was still there and then turned the radio off too. I got out of the car and the noise was coming from under the driver's seat, not from the door speaker. It sounded like a little toy electric motor. As soon as I turned the key off, I could hear the motor stop. As soon as I turned the key on again (without starting the engine) it started again. I tried every power seat adjustment (including lumbar) thinking that something was stuck and everything worked fine. I can't imagine what else is under the seat other than the electronics for the side air bag in the seat (which worries me).

After the car sat for awhile, I went out again and it was quiet. 10 minutes into driving, it started again. I'm going to try and get it to the dealer this week.

Anyone else ever experience this problem? Thanks.

Looks like no one else had this problem.....probably a good thing.

Got the GX back from the dealer today. They found the electric motor noise coming from the Amp under the driver's seat. Weird thing is that the noise was there regardless of if the radio was on and the ML sound system is working fine. The dealer should receive the new amp next week.
