I bet they have Sat Radio on their 06 GX.
They had it on the LX and the RX 06 models.

Has anyone heard if the satellite radio kit that Lexus offers for the 06 LX will integrate with the 05 GX? I was looking at the installation instructions (26 pages) http://www.lexus-parts.com/LX_XM.pdf for the XM Radio kit for the LX and it doesn't look that difficult to do. I just wonder if the electrical connectors are the same as the GX?
If so I would imagine the Sirius Kit would be very similar. I would also think the mounting brackets for the satellite tuner would have to be modified to fit the GX. But thats no big deal.

I own a 2004 LX and was quite disappointed there was no satellite radio option. I know many others have suggested adding on an aftermarket kit. I think these kits really don't look great in an otherwise beautiful SUV. Based on all of the other electronic gadgets (heck, mine even has night vision) they've been able to integrate, adding satellite radio really shouldn't be that difficult of a feat to pull off. I agree that Lexus needs to wake up on this one. Heck, some of the cheapest cars in the marketplace now offer satellite radio.
