I have a few questions after 3 days of owning the truck
(1) Can you play mp3's using the dvd player or the cd changer?
(2) How do you get to play the dvd on the nav screen when the car is in parked mode?
TIA for your help.

On 2), you have to have the emergency brake on, and stopped (or moving less than about 3mph).
You hit the DISC button until you get to play the DVD and hit the Audio button for the screen, then hit the Picture (touch screen button).

No the DVD does not have an MP3 decoder. However, there is a program put out by sonic called MYDVD studio that allows you to burn DVD audio to DVD that will play on the DVD player, you can get about 160 songs on a DVD, but you can not create and navigate files like you can with MP3 format.. If the file thing doesn't bother you, there is a Dolby audio compression format you can choose that compressess the audio slightly, giving you the ability to put about 400 songs on a DVD.
