Land Rover Sport vs. GX
I went to a Land Rover Ride and Drive 4wheel event this weekend. They were showcasing the 2006 Range Rover Sport.
Interesting drive - rainy weekend, lots of mud and hills. I figured it would rain since I just washed the GX to ride to the event.
Wondering if anyone else has driven or considered the SUV.?
I drove the 390 hp supercharger version... Not bad. Still don't like the radio/ dash or the lack of a third row.....But it does move very nicely with the supercharger. It handled the mud and hills pretty good.... Yes, this was a real 4 wheel track through the woods. I really wanted to take my GX on the same track, but it was private property...... It appears that a lot of the 4wheel technology is similar to the GX, even the KDDS (forgot what they called theres)... One of the coolest toys - the truck will lower almost to the ground for enter/ exit.... Not just the rear like the GX... Very nice when exiting a very muddy truck.
Any thought? Any one else visit these showcases?
