If i was worried about gas i wouldn't have bought an SUV. 
I'm not afraid to admit that i leave the truck running, even though alot of people say you shouldn't. Like when i get gas, or if i use the remote start, oops i forgot my wallet.....etc.etc.
Besides sometimes with the bluetooth active, there are times when i might not want to answer a call. For example, work, or having an important conversation with the wife.......

I know on BMWs, running the engine with the gas cap off can lead to CEL... Don't know if it would happen on the GX...
