HID Fog Light conversion
Hey all,
I have not seen any posts with pics of HID Fog light conversions?!?
That is, since the wiring of the H3 bulb is essentially INSIDE the housing (ie the wires go from the bulb to the back of housing in which the wiring harness is hardwired) has anyone seen a kit that can be plugged into the original harness and then contains its own backlplate that goes into the housing?
The only way to do it right now is to run the two wires for the bulbs through a vent hole (or drill one at worst).
if someone did do the install please share some of the pictures of how it was done... (ie the back of the enclosure) and if someone has seen a Lexus specific kit please let me know.
Thanks

Well if you have some links do post them. As I said you would need to run the wires from the BULB to the outside of the enclosure through the vent holes and then run the wires from the ballast to the harness back into the enclosure... is that what you have done? please elaborate..

Got the Pic!
Here is my HID Foglight - 6000K from xenondepot. I had it installed long time ago, but didn't have time to post it... Now.... it's here!! IMO, it's bright, much better vision in dark.

The glare is so spread out wide, not far, but increases the visiblity by 10X more thenn the .
I did the PIAA iron yellow 2500K before, althought it's better than stock but I think is nothing comparable with the HID.
I found Getting a high-beam HID is not too practical for me... So I just brought PIAA 7500K from Japan, When it's on, not too bright, I just love the blue/white color!

Just pay someone to do it since you too stupid to do it or too cheap to get it done right.
Slap yourself for me! thanks

Actually its possible to take off the AMP connectors off of the bulb wires then run the wires THROUGH THE VENT HOLE on the back of the lights and run the HARNESS wires through the same vent hole and connect them to the original harness w/o cutting/splicing/drilling anything.
Thanks
Thanks
