i was at the LA autoshow and saw a 05 taco there with a ARB bull bar on a ramp. i stuck my head up under the bumper to see where it mounted, and to my surprise it seemed it mounted to the stock bumper mounting locations on the frame. i tried to see if it mounted anywhere else but did not see that it did. did i not see something or is that the only place the bumper is mounted to?
dan
here's a pic, i circled where i saw it was mounted on the taco

dan,
that's it- it bolts onto the frame rail horns. The issue you have is the plastic overfenders are a different shape than the Prado 120. You have to be prepared to do some minor cosmetic surgery to get it fit up and a bit more research. try posting in toyota120.com GX470 section
If you decide on it, get the Prado bullbar, not the Taco one. They are different fitment.
