Which color looks better 4300K or 6000k. And who has the best prices?

Default 4300 approximates OEM and throws more light (more)

6K is more blue and, to me, looks more aftermarket---just what I do not want.
I'd w/ with xenondepot.com Not the "best" prices, but a quality unit and excellent service. I'd rather spend an extra $50 and have someone to call with a problem.

Installed the 4300K Xenon Depot kit in our GX and the Xenon Depot 6000K in my in-law's GX. I like the pure white color of our 4300K kit better. Looks totally factory whereas the in-law's looks aftermarket. The 4300K put a lot more light on the road too. The XD kits are now down to around $379. Well worth it.

Hey Steevr,
A few questions
(1) When cars come equipped with factory HID, do they come with 4300k or 6000k or something different?

(2) Is it true the output from a 4300k kit turns yellowish (more like the halogens) over time?

I just placed an order at SUPERHIDS.COM. 6000k, $300 free shipping with harness, relay. someone said they are selling Bosch bulbs witch audi and Porsche using,

so I beleive there is no need to buy extra harness and relay if you buy from them. some ppl said xd is asking too high a price, even their sales man agree this.

Factory HID's use the 4300K bulbs. Some auto manufacturers HID's look bluer at the cutoff than others because of the projector/lens setup. However, the white light output in the middle of the beam is pretty much consistant amongst all.

I've heard that both the 4300K and 6000K bulbs actually shift more towards blue as they get burned in. The factory HID's on my RX still look the same color after 4 1/2 years.

Hope that helps.
