Don't know what the problem is but that shadow effect sure looks dangerous. There is a car on the right in picture 3 that is totally blacked out in photo 4.

The stock - halogen is allright. The HID bulbs are the problem but not sure what caused this. Many of us purchased the HID(6000k and 4300k) kits from Xenondepot. As I remember, everyone one who got it there is happy with the product.
Try to complain this incident to the company you bought from and see what they can do for you!

Default That is not H11 bulbs you got, its H8

The bulb type you received it not a H11 bulb, it is a H8 bulb, the base between those two bulbs are interchangeable, however the focus different, the H8 has a close focus point from the projector therefore you get nothing in the center (that is why you see that half circle) I suggest you tell them to exchange it for you for the correct bulb type or buy from ebay.. here is a good seller from ebay I bought bulbs from for my IS

Erix,

Here is a link to XenonDepot for a TRUE H11 bulb that works for a LOT of members here on the forum. I've installed their 6000k kit and it is working like a charm...

Your choice, 4300K or 6000K just be sure to pick H11 as your base...

PS> I'm not 100% sure that the bulbs themselves would FIX your problem, just SHEER speculation on Nut's reply, so BEFORE you decide to order new bulbs (Expensive), I would first check to make sure that this is what the problem is first...

Good Luck...

On a holagen bulb, the H8 is use as a fog light in most car, it is not as bright and do not cast a beam as far as a H11 bulb. The H8 and H11 have the same base but the H8 use only 35 watts.

why don't you just tell superhids.com to send you the right one? 300 bucks isnt something to really let go, at least see if they'll send you the right ones.

I agree....see if you can iron it out with SuperHID. If not, then jump on the XenonDepot bandwagon like the rest of us did. Last prices I saw through XD were $379 for the complete kit including ballasts.

Was this an HID type reflector retro fit kit, Or do you just the stock reflectors in the headlights? I did not read everything but maybe you need a retro fit kit for the "perfect" beam pattern.

If you paid by PayPal or Credit-Card, you have a recourse. Contact them about your situation.

sorry to hear about all your troubles with superhids. In a way you have done a favor to some of us who would have thought about superhids option by sharing your experience. Thank you!

Have you tried to seek a local professional installer's advice on what is wrong? It may help in finding out what is the root cause of the problem.
