Default Not to be a jerk

This is why I keep telling everyone the price of the HID kits is not the most important thing. The customer service and quality of the components is what matters. If by chance Erix's kit works out then there is no problems but based on hundreds of other experiences Xenondepot.com always comes out on top hence why I endorse them.

Superhids had problems with another member here in 04 and no one remembers that?

Xenondepot is not the cheapest but its a sure thing for 79 to 100 bucks more for piece of mind.

hey you guys, I have a 8000k hid kit but its not giving off the ammount of light that i want. But the color is amazing. I want to upgrade to the 5000k kit, but i was wondering is there any blue to it at all? just a lil blue would be fine. I just want a kit with a just a tad bit blue to it. Has anybody in a nissan murano with oem hid? Thats kinda what i'm looking for. Any suggestions would be great.

All OEM HID bulbs use the 4300K bulbs. Any blue that you see is at the edge of the projector beam. It is caused by the type of lens, etc. It has nothing to do with the bulb. If you take an OEM Murano and pull it up against a white wall, you'll see that the center of the light beam is pure white.

I've got the 4300K kit in my GX and I installed a 6000K kit in my father-in-law's GX. The 6000K has the blue hue all over the beam. I've driven both at night and the 4300K puts a lot more light on the road than the 6000K. I bought my kit so that I can see the road better, not that people "ooo and ahhhh" over the way it looks. I've love the factory look to the 4300K. It all comes down to personal preference.

o 0_k, is that why some people retrofie their projectors and buy the factory hid? Or has anybody done this with their gx?

Lex,

Other cars don't have the correct housing/projectors to accomodate the HIDs hence the reason why they upgrade both the Reflectors and the HID bulbs/harness kit.

Luckily for us the GX already has the correct projector lenses in place, so replacing the reflector lenses are not an option for GX owners who switch to HIDs.

So if we get the 4300k kit then we would have the same effect as bimmers and mercedes have? its white but in some angles they'll be like blue or a different color?

Hi Lex,

I purchased the 6000K kit and in retrospect, I think I should have gone with the 4300K instead... That said the 6000K looks really good, but I just started to notice the really REALLY bright WHITE version of the 4300K and IF/WHEN my 6000K bulbs go out, I'm all over the 4300K H11 bulbs...

Whether or NOT the slight bluish/purplish tint is there or not is something that I cannot answer as I don't have it, perhaps some other CL member here can answer that for you...?

Our 4300K kit does produce a slight blue hue on the cutoff. Not as blue as an Audi or Honda S2000, but it is there. Once again, it depends on the optics in the projector unit.

Since David mention this, any members should be careful about this setup from ebay. This foglight is not even his (the seller, not David ) then.

This guy only accepts MO or check, feedback is kept private, and mainly stolen pictures from David.

Anyways, back on topic.

hey steevr, can you post some of your pictures at night so that i can get an idea of what they look like? Also, is it true that once the 4300k bulbs get used, they slightly shift to blue? I really want the brightness of the 4300k but i also want just a little, very little ammount of blue. What i really prefer is like oncomers, they see that the color changes on my headlight. I'd rather see just pure whiteness when i'm driving though, but i want oncoming cars to see the color changes. It excites me everytime i'm on the highway and i see a bmw, it changes color and it fascinates me. And i want the same effect, and if our projectors would do the same thing then i'll gow ith the 4300k kit. I hope im making some sense. And how can u spot of some fake philips kit? they have the serial and everything looks real.
