Default XM integrated with Nav/ML?

Can anyone recommend an xm radio application that integrates with the nav/ml system for an '06? I want a direct wired unit; no cassette adapter, exposed hardware, wires, etc. Cost, other info appreciated...
Thanks

Vaistech module and XM direct box. This will give you an integrated system. I'm putting mine in this weekend....total cost is about $300 bucks...the XMDirect box is like $40 with a $40 dollar rebate!!!! Vaistech is $300.

You guys with '06's need to figure out which XM kit fits the 06. On the 05's we used either the dash 100 or the dash 120. One was actually for the ES330 and the other was for the LX. It is a much cheaper route than using the Vasiteh. I think my install was about $220 something.

I agree.... lots of conflicting information about what OEM Lexus units are compatible with the 2006 GX models....

I don't mind spending some money for a quality part, but I agree that when doing so there is an expectation of a certain level of function. I'm looking for something that allows xm radio use seamless with the nav in my '06. Thanks for the replies and comments. Keep 'em coming.

Trying to add XM radio to mt GX. Can anyone verify that ES330 XM Part #: 86100-0W100 will function in a '06 GX equipped with ML/ Nav? Thanks.

There are several techs who are on the board maybe we will hear from one of them as to what the dealers are doing on the 06's.

Hi Tinstar,

Hope we can get an definite answer from someone. If not, I'll go with the Vaistech unit with the XM box...know it works as I had it installed in my '04 GX.

Hi Rick

You know what, I am not sure. They said that they integrate it into the main NAV unit. The dealer told me that you have to hit CD 4 times for it to come on...not sure but I assume it is something that Toyota came up with.

CV

I currently have Roady 2 unit in my car but didn't want to see wires everywhere.

It certainly would help the other 06 owners if you can find out which model number of the kits they use as there is not a kit for the GX as such. It will be a kit for one of the other Lexus cars. The question is which one?

I ordered a Vaistech SLX yesterday. I'll post an update after I get it installed.

Really! Good news! So you like the unit huh? The only thing that I am not happy with regarding my portable unit (besides the ugly wires) is the sound quality going through the tape deck. Sounds like **** IMHO. Did they install an antenna anywhere on your truck?

They said something about an addtional aux port available for an Ipod? Did you get that extra port and where do you plug into it?
