I only know what my installer told me. My Sirius is working fine and I assume he used the parts he mentioned above since I bought the ES330 ML kit and he said he swapped it out.

 

I'd be curious to see what the correct kit is. I tried the 33050 and had 2 large 16 pin connectors I couldn't do anything with and looked like they needed to connect to the amp--which is under the seat. JohnAMG sent me a msg that he used the 33051 ML kit, which had only 2 small 12 pin connectors, which worked well.

So far, we know that the LX kit works and there is dispute as to the correct ES kit.

Any chance you could ask the installer how many connectors he recalls using and where they were? While mine works, I'd like to help others make the right choice.

 

I wish someone out there had pix/diagrams of connectors for each kit discussed and '05 GX470 nav and amp units. That would clear things up!

 

you'll see installation instructions for both the LX and the ES330. Look at the LX and it describes the connectors used- pretty much the exact same in the GX, only on the L side of the vehicle.
The ES also has instructions- look carefully at the ML & non ML versions of wiring discussed. There are drawings.
