Reboot, very nice idea for a website!

Also, interesting that the new TSIB now calls for the upper and lower rear control arms and not just the lower.

Good luck with tracking that fix of yours ...
The latest version is from May 29, 2007. http://www.faqlexus.com/index.php?ac...=14&artlang=en

That's the latest.

Yes, the clunk is back. By bigger and better, I mean that it is worse than before.

When did you get it fixed? After May 29th, 2007?

I don't think most people could put on 10,000 miles in less than 3 months. But it is possible. My guess is it would have been prior.

I have a call in to my dealer for the fix. My service rep said he would call me back early next week with an idea on when they can do it. They have to order the parts. I did not mind the thud/clunk all that much. But every passenger I've had so far can really feel it and always thinks I was hit or just drove over an animal or something, so I'll just take it in. Hope it does the trick, otherwise, I'll just have them re-service it till it sticks.

The old TSIB from 2006 also involved changing the upper and lower control arms. So nothing new about that.

I think the lastest TSB from 5/07 is to just include the 07 model, the original TSB came out in 6/06. Cab2u, did they change the control arms on your tsb. It seems strange that the tsb has work for 99% of the people who had it done but not for you. Perhaps there may be some other issue concerning your clunk. Did they check the height on your rear suspension when they perform the tsb?

Parts are really backordered. They think I'll need to wait at least another 2-3weeks till my parts arrive.

I took my '07 in yesterday for the 10k service and told them about the clunk and now I am on the back order list waiting for parts. Any idea how long the back ordered parts take to arrive?

Took about 3 weeks for me, however some say that their parts only took a few days or some dealers even had them in stock.
