My wife's new car has the Bridgestone Dueler on them and my GX has Michelin Cross Terrains, the differnce is like night and day in almost every parameter. I am glad I insisted on Cross Terrains when I bought my GX.

Default Tires for the Lexus

Mine came with the Dunlops. I am waiting to put either Revos or BFG Rugged Trail on. Will probably be putting new tires on this fall. I actually go offroad a fair amount and need a TIRE, not a pizza cutter

Sayadil.....

Your 80k converts to 50,000 miles for your set of Duelers. I'm pretty sure I'll get more than that on my Michelins.

Default hey cap

guys i changed my tires coz i needed 20" wheels.. my duelers r just little over half done.. i could still use them.. infact i plan to put them on with the factory rims back in winters.. keep in mind that michelins r more comfortable n less noisy but duelers r more stiff sidewall n better tread life.

I have 55K on my Duelers. Still plenty of tread yet. I'm waiting for them to wear out so I can get the Michelin's from Sam's. Probably change them before winter come around again.

I can't believe that Lexus would put Duelers on any of the Lexus models. Those tires stink IMHO. I had them on my first 4Runner.

well i agree michelins are much better choice... but i had duelers on mine and honestly never had any problems...whatsoever... plus since i come frm asian country... bridgestone are huge there... (i think its the 2nd biggest tire company in the world) i have duelers on my landcruiser also.. never had any problems... so i wouldn't say they stink.. i mean even if you go by tire rack people.. they do recommend duelers.

Mine didn't hold up whatsoever on my 4Runner. Yes, you would think that they would recommend Duelers. That way you will need to buy a new pair every 30K.

I love the quiet and smooth ride on cross terrains too.

Mine originally came with Grandtrek. That one I think is the worst for this truck. I used to have vibrations at freeway speed after cold start. After repeated compains dealer replaced tires but with the same ones at 8k miles. Replacements were better but again the same vibration issue after cold start. Dealer replaced again at 15k service. This time with cross terrains. What a difference!!! I was told by master tech that there is a related TSB. Those tires develop a flat spot.

Got almost 60k out of my first set of grandtreks - just got four more. Outstanding tires. I threw everytthing at them and they never once gave me an issue. Rain, snow, off-road, beach, trailering, high speads. TSB? On tires? Didnt hear that one. Go ahead and pay twice the price for the michelins....suckers!!
