I have no idea. I regularly use my RAZR with the BT, and every so often use the "drop" feature to drop the headset. When I restart the vehicle, it picks it right back up. I have had NO issues, and I use it every time I get in the car.

CVsGX470, we luv you, we luv you, we are so sorry, can you ever forgive us...
Occasionally my BT devices get screwed up too (not necessarily specific to the GX). If a power on and off cycle doesn't do it. Then my second step is actually pulling the power, if you can (like taking the battery out of the phone). Final step is to delete the device and pairing. Power cycle. Then redo add device/pairing, as if it was the first time.
