Ladies and Gents, Has anyone of you heard of anyone installing an aftermarket lcd stereo screen in the front dash to replace the factory head unit? I have the GX 470 without the Nav screen and the Mark Levinson sound system, but would like to install an LCD stereo in the front dash to control the whole thing. Maybe even fit in a rear view camera. Just wondering if anyone has done this...
Thnx
Thnx

Sorry to say but, buying a GX without the NAV package is like Corn Flakes without the milk. Google search "AVN30D", that is what I have found to be closest to the GX nav unit. My wife wanted the same system in her Expedition, so I researched it and found it too expensive. You missed out, if you can, trade your GX in on one with the Nav package/rear camera. You will be much happier and able to join the "I agree" button club.

Thnx for the info. I live in Hawaii, so all the Lexus models that come here do not include the Nav pkg. Kinda hard to get lost in Hawaii since you drive in any direction and run into pristine beaches. You can have your corn flakes with milk. My corn flakes taste fine dry, sitting on the beach drinking a Mai Tai...
