Got a few questions.

While driving at highway speeds this weekend, I noticed steering wheel play/ vibration when applying the brakes... My first thought is brakes..... However, I only 18K on my 2005. Afterwards, I starting noticing vibrations at 60- 70 mph speeds... just not as pronounced as when applying brakes.

Can it be anything else?
Are there anything specific that I should tell the dealer to address / check?
Any TSBs?

Isn't 18k a little early for brake issues......

You may also have warped rotors, but the fact that you get vibration without applying the brakes leads me to believe that your dealer should take a look at this first.

 

STEERING VIBRATION/DRONE NOISE TSB is what u need. as mentioned by Caha.. u mite have warped Rotors as well (Common problem with GX factory Rotors) would recommended switching to BREMBO Cross Drilled, they run only around 120 on ebay for a set.. and u will not have a problem again.
