Default How to identify KDSS

For a couple of months I've been searching for the perfect GX. I am yet to locate one with KDSS in my area Up to this point, I've been under the impression that the KDSS models all include the black and silver trim, but one of the dealers in town told me this is not the case

If the dealer is correct, how can KDSS be identified in ads or confirmed visually

Default While KDSS is usually part of the "sport" package (m)

which does have silver trim, it is also available as a stand alone option, allthough such is somewhat rare. I have to special order mine, as white is expressly not available with the sports package.
The front sway bar is much, much bigger and, upon turning the key, the kdss light on the dash will briefly illuminate. If all else fails, check a VIN number with a dealer. They should be able to determine equipment levels. Or, take a turn- if the truck feels like its leaning quite a bit, then it does not have KDSS.
I wouldn't have a GX without it. Did NOT like the handling of the standard version in the least. You need to try both versions to appreciate the difference.

Look at the front sway bar. A truck w/o KDSS has a normal size sway bar, a truck
w/KDSS has a 2-2 1/2 round sway bar. Also there is a short shock absorber looking
device attached to the sway bar that helps control roll and lean.

There's nothing like a picture to help clear things up

gas mileage was pretty bad, i think i was getting 12mpg... i left them on for everyday driving, but eventually had to go back to the cross terrains to preserve the MT/R's.
