i wuz driving home and spotted a fellow GX'er, as i pulled up i noticed his wuz alot brighter & shinier than mine....i know its been weeks since my last wash BUT still.... anywayz, so to answer ur question, yes theres diff between the two --PINE has slight green hue/tint to it & TM is smiply silver i guess u can say ARCTIC!! also, i do believe that silver pine has been discountinued and replaced wit titanium metallic for 2006.....

btw, BLACK is especially lovely when its nice & clean -almost wet lookin'- but u have to admit no matter what u cant get rid of 'em SWIRL marks!!

I've been told that if you use a wax that "flattens" out as it dries you're less apt to getting swirl marks. The swirl marks come from wax that have round granules in it (may not be able to feel them with your hand) and when you wipe the wax off it scratches the top coat thus causing a swirl. Sounded good to me....lol

yeh i think it makes sense.. anyway i'm using wax from mothers n eagle... and i don't get swirl marks... Black when polished regularly and kept clean looks the most rewarding and shine is usually blinding.

Swirl marks, most visible on darker cars, are caused by washing (or contact in general) with fabric or car wash brushes that cause minor scratches in the clear coat. Another cause is using a non clear coat safe cleaner wax.

Polishing the car with a clear coat safe polish (i.e. 3m imperial hand or machine glaze) will remove the swirls, followed by a waxing.

Use microfiber towels to wash/dry and youwon't get swirls at all.

2007 Blizzard Pearl w/ Dark Gray interior. The other day. I was getting fuel and a guy in a RX350 noticed my GX had the darker interior. He said he thought the GX only came with the tan/ivory interior since that is the only color he has ever seen in them. I wonder what the ratio is. Probably like 90% of them have the tan/ivory interior.

I have a Nautical Blue GX and love it. I am 35 and wonder if there is a correlation between color preference and age.

My 05 GX is the same color combo. I had to special order it, as the dealer said everything they had coming was with the ivory interior. We had just owned a car with a light tan interior and it was to much work to keep it looking clean.
