Anyone interested in Central/Socal CA for Hungry Valley Meet?
I was just browsing and found this thread
Hungry Valley
Appreantly one of our old member took his GX there and had some fun. It would be fun to gather few GX and caravan up there for couple hours of driving and some photoshoot. What do you guys think? Could be a summer fun no??
I think this would be a nice idea for owners of true off-road capable GX470 to practice and understand some of the key fundamental of what this car can do. We all know that any SUV can go on the freeway and show off their bling bling rims and 5 LCD monitors to entertain the guests . But how many of those SUVs can just get off the freeway and run into dirt roads and have some dusty fun? Plus we get to utilize our full time 4 wheels finally.
This will be my first experience and i think there is definately a huge learning curve for doing this. Just like taking your car onto a track and learning, this would be somewhat similar but in a very open area.
What do you guys say??
I dont have KDSS but i figure my non-kdss would hold up to certain degree

I'd be interested
Just about 4 weeks away from putting Revo A/Ts on and replacing the street tires. Even be worth the drive up from San Diego.
Kormaster, you might be disappointed if you try this with your 22" wheels and street tires.
Cheers,
Tom

That would be awesome and would love to get my GX dirty
I really want to do this, not sure if time or new baby permits
Definitely want to make the extra effort.
Regarding past posts about someone doing the off-road, we need to take off our side-steps.
Plus we can finally raise our height too right?

not to throw off any ideas for Hungry Valley, but there is also Rowher Flats which is very easy, nothing more then light trails, and running board safe. only reason i brought up Rowher is because it is only 15min north of the San Fernando valley. we can go, have FUN, and comeback all in reasonable time.
just a thought, but count me in either way, and let's setup a date to do this whether it is a large group or a small one.
