Default Where to get new brakes

Finally after 40k miles I need new brakes. Lexus prices I found run as little as $300 and as much as $415. That is for pads and resurfacing. Any opinion and having it done by a mechanic (midas, pep boys, etc.)?

Recommend you price a local Toyota dealer... Have the brake fluid flushed at the same time.

Personally, I would buy some slotted brembo rotors from ebay and the pads from Lexus and bring them to midas to install.

Best thing to do is find a shop that installs your parts and buy them at the dealer. This way you will have dealer parts but not pay dealer labor.

I believe these are Brembo rotors, but I would call to double check.

I am all for it, but curious what will be any negative concern.
